After the devastating Younkers Building fire ravaged the structure next door, the Greater Des Moines Partnership offices were damaged to the point of needing a remodel. Slingshot Architecture and Nelson Construction & Development were hired by the owners of the building, Lawmark Capital, to create an office space that incorporated the latest research and findings in workspace design. This new space features stand-up desks that raise and lower, Iowa-sourced hickory wood, local artwork, and many other custom touches. We are proud to have worked with an exceptional design team, ownership team, and a world-class client that is promoting economic development of our region in such innovative, effective ways.
