April 7, 2011 – Nelson Construction was excited to unveil Des Moines’ first Hyatt Place last night. The gala, with a 1920’s theme, was well attended by Iowa Governor Terry Brandstad, Des Moines Mayor Frank Cownie, and other local business and community leaders. Guests enjoyed entertainment throughout the night with food and refreshments. We are excited to see this hotel grow in downtown Des Moines.
