December 6, 2010 – Nelson Development is pleased to have recently received an “excellence in historic preservation award” from the City of Des Moines. This award was given for the outstanding job in “adaptive reuse” for the former Hawkeye Transfer Building. We are very grateful to the City of Des Moines for their recognition and are delighted to be a part of the urban renaissance in downtown Des Moines.
